Chevy Fun days
Yorkton Minor Hockey Novice Division
Coaches, Parents and Players
On behalf of the Yorkton Minor Hockey board I would like to say thank-you for a great start to the 07/08 hockey season. Having said that, I realize that there are many challenges every team has to deal with during the season with travel, injuries, time away from home and the emotion of the game. With these challenges, it is troubling to know that there are some on every team, not only the Novice division, who don’t support each other, their coaches or the kids on the ice. If you do have concerns please try to resolve them amongst yourselves or with the coaches. Any member of the YMH board is there for you to contact as well if you are not comfortable doing this. Let the coaches coach, let the kids have fun and cheer them on. It will make everyone’s hockey season better and memorable for the short time they have playing in that division.
Chevy Fun Days are scheduled for Jan 3/08 at the FAA. There will be two 1 hour ice sessions as well as two 1 hour off-ice sessions. A parent meeting will be held as well with someone from Hockey Canada speaking. I hope all parents will be able to attend. One lucky player will be drawn for a trip to a Chevy Fun Day event hosted by Mike Bossy, Cassie Campbell, or Bobby Orr.
Tentative Schedule
1:00-2:00 -On ice- team 1 & team 2
-parent meeting
2:00-3:00 -On ice- team 3 & team 4

-off ice team 1 and team 2(flexi-hall)
