Harvest Pizza Terriers Win League Banner!

The Harvest Pizza Terriers captured the Atom B Division League Championship last night with a 3-2 win over the Langenburg Warriors in game 3 of the Major Hockey League playoff series.

Game 1 was played in the Yorkton Kinsmen Arena on Tuesday with Langenburg winning by a score of 4-3. Game 2 was a 7-0 definitive win for the Terriers in the Langenburg Arena on Wednesday night.

Game 3 was played at the Farrell Agencies Arena on Thursday and was a hard fought battle, and stayed within a one goal margin for most of the game.

Congratulations to the Players and Coaches who put in a great season of hockey, developed skills, and more importantly friendships that will last a lifetime.

Midget AA Tier II Champs

Bantams Come Close

The Yorkton Bantam AA Tier II Provincial Team traveled to North Battleford on the weekend of March 17 -19th. The team faced some tough competition and was involved in some tight games.

The players played hard in the final game but couldn't manage to tie the game to send it into overtime. In the last minute of the game the Terriers had the goalie beat but rung the shot off the goalpost. Thus earning the team the provincial runner up plaques.

Coaches Brian MacLean, Gerry Vandane and Tyrell MacLean were very happy with how the team played over the weekend. Their grit and determination earned them a spot in the final. They came very close to earning Yorkton a second provincial banner and the coaches were very proud of how well they represented Yorkton.

Bantam AA Tier II Provincials

The Bantam Provincial team is headed to North Battleford this weekend for their Provincial Tournament.

Game 1 - 3:15 vs Prince Albert
Game 2 - 7:45 vs Saskatoon.
