Congratulations to all Teams
Congratulations to all teams for a terrific season and and an exciting playoff run. We still have a few teams playing games and I encourage you to come to the rink to cheer on our teams. The PeeWee AA, Atom AA, and Novice Cooperators teams are all playing for league championships these next 2 weeks. As well we have other teams playing in MHL B and C finals, and our provincial and carded teams are doing very well. It's an exciting time to be a hockey fan.
I want to thank all of you who have taken the opportunity to complete the on-line coach's evaluation.
Many evaluations have been sent and I look forward to receiving many more. If you don't know your team password you should contact your team manager or drop me an email at ymhpresident@gmail.com See you at the banquet on April 21. Kelly

Hockey Schools
Once hockey season is over, it's always a good idea to take a rest away from the rink.
Depending on your child, they may need a few months or a few weeks. Sometimes, hockey schools or skills development sessions are great ways to motivate and build up for next season. Here are a couple of camps taking place within Yorkton or the near surroundings.
Highway 10 Hockey School - In Yorkton. August 9-14, 2009
M/T Skills and Conditioning Camp - In Whitewood (only for players born 1995-96 and 1993-94). This camps takes place with weekly sessions throughout July and August.

Online Coach Evaluations
In an attempt to receive more feedback on our Yorkton coaches, Yorkton Minor Hockey parents will very soon be able to complete coach evaluations online. Coach evaluations are a useful tool in helping select the right coach for next year’s teams and they are useful in helping our coaches improve their skills.
Click here to complete your evaluation online.
Your input is vitally important to the success of hockey in Yorkton.
Your team manager will provide you with a password in order for you to complete the online evaluation. Once you have completed the evaluation and click ‘submit’ your completed evaluation will be directed to Kelly Maddin, President of Yorkton Minor Hockey.
Your name must appear on your evaluation.
However, your name will be removed from the evaluation before it is put into the coach’s file in the YMH office.
It is important to include your name on the evaluation to validate the information. If there is a major concern Kelly may contact you, but be assured, your evaluation will be held in the strictest of confidence.
